In January, Megève will come alive to the rhythm of the EDELWEISS MEGEVE SKI, the legendary night cross-country ski race organized by the Club des Sports de Megève. This unique event, open to everyone, offers an exceptional experience that combines athletic performance, camaraderie, and freedom. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, this race invites you to push your limits while enjoying the magic of the mountains under the stars.

EDELWEISS MEGEVE SKI is based on a core principle: freedom. Freedom to choose a course suited to your skill level, freedom to adjust the intensity to your abilities, and even freedom to participate with or without a stopwatch. This innovative format guarantees a personalized experience accessible to everyone, in a friendly and festive atmosphere.

The event offers four race formats, each designed to provide an appropriate challenge:

• The Radio Mont Blanc Trail: 750 m elevation gain (9 km), untimed, ideal for a gentle introduction.
• The Dauphiné Trail: 750 m of elevation gain (9 km), timed, perfect for a first athletic challenge.
• The John Taylor Trail: 1,200 m of elevation gain (15 km), for experienced skiers.
• The Pure Altitude Trail: 1,600 m of elevation gain (22 km)—the most challenging route, reserved for experts seeking thrills.
