Does the hotel close at any time of the year?

The Hôtel Mont-Blanc welcomes guests every year in downtown Megève during the winter season, from December through March. Les Fermes de Marie is also open in the fall.

Opened in 1913 and acquired by the Sibuet family in 1992, Jean Cocteau dubbed it the “21st arrondissement of Paris.” This chic and timeless hotel served as the setting for Roger Vadim’s legendary film *Les Liaisons Dangereuses*. As for the amenities, all rooms feature a TV, free Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth speaker, a safe, Pure Altitude bath products, a hair dryer, a minibar, a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle, and a welcome kit with a selection of teas and herbal teas. Does the hotel open in the fall?

The Hôtel Mont-Blanc closes in the fall. However, you can stay at Les Fermes de Marie during the All Saints' Day holiday and every weekend in the fall to enjoy Megève during this season.

When you book your stay at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc, we will ask you for the following information: first and last name, mailing address, email address, cell phone number, and the first and last names of the other guests. You will also be asked to provide a credit card for the deposit, if applicable.

WHAT GUARANTEES DO YOU REQUIRE FOR A RESERVATION?

To confirm your reservation at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc, a deposit of 50% or 100% of the total amount will be required, depending on the rate you choose. The balance for your stay must be paid 14 or 30 days before your arrival (depending on the time of year). The deposit can be paid by credit card (3D Secure payment) or by bank transfer.

Under what conditions can I cancel my reservation?

If you would like to cancel your reservation at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc:

• With a flexible rate, any cancellation made more than 30 days before arrival will be fully refunded. For cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival, the deposit already paid will be retained.
• In the event of a same-day cancellation, the deposit will be retained and the remaining 50% will be charged.

HOW MUCH IS THE TOURIST TAX?

The tourist tax at the Hotel Mont-Blanc is €2.60 per day per adult.

Located in the heart of Megève, the Hôtel Mont-Blanc does not have private parking, but valet parking is available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Once you have dropped off your luggage at the hotel, the valet will park your vehicle for €30 per day.

WHAT ARE THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?

Upon arrival at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc, check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. If you arrive before 4:00 p.m., we invite you to relax in our tea room, Le George. After your trip, enjoy a moment of rest by the fireplace, comfortably settled into one of the lounge chairs. On the day of departure, check-out must be completed by 12:00 p.m. Otherwise, you will be charged for an additional night.

IS A LATE CHECK-OUT POSSIBLE?

The pool, sauna, and hot tub are reserved exclusively for hotel guests. However, non-guests may access the Pure Altitude Spa facilities by booking a Day Spa package, which includes a treatment and access to the wellness area.

We strongly recommend that you book your treatment at the Pure Altitude Spa in advance, especially during school breaks, to ensure you get your preferred time slot.
