IS THE HOTEL CLOSED FOR A PERIOD?

TheHôtel Mont-Blanc welcomes you every year in the center of Megève for the winter season, from December to March and from July to September for the summer season. As for Les Fermes de Marie, the hotel is open to welcome you in autumn too.

TheHôtel Mont-Blanc is a historic landmark in Megève. Opened in 1913 and taken over by the Sibuet family in 1992, it was nicknamed the "21st arrondissement of Paris" by Jean Cocteau. This timelessly chic hotel was the setting for Roger Vadim's legendary film Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Today, it continues to seduce with its elegance and first-class hospitality.

WHAT INFORMATION WILL I BE ASKED FOR TO MAKE MY RESERVATION?

When booking your stay at the Hotel Mont-Blanc, we will ask you for the following information: first and last name, postal address, email address, cell phone number, as well as the first and last names of the other participants in the stay. A credit card will also be required for payment of any deposit.

WHAT GUARANTEES DO YOU REQUIRE FOR THE BOOKING?

To confirm your reservation at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc, a deposit of 50% or 100% of the total amount will be required, depending on the rate chosen. Deposits can be paid by credit card (3D secure payment), cheque or bank transfer.

UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS CAN I CANCEL MY RESERVATION?

If you wish to cancel your reservation at the Hotel Mont-Blanc :

• For cancellable rates, cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival will be refunded in full. For cancellations less than 30 days before arrival, the deposit already paid will be retained.
• In the event of cancellation on the same day, the deposit will be retained and the remaining 50% will be invoiced.

WHAT IS THE RATE OF THE TOURIST TAX?

Tourist tax at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc is €2.50 per day per adult.

DOES THE HOTEL HAVE A CAR PARK? IS THERE A CHARGE FOR PARKING?

Located in the heart of Megève, L'Hôtel Mont-Blanc does not have its own parking lot, but valet parking is available from 8am to 10pm. This service will park your vehicle for €25 per day after you have dropped off your luggage at the hotel.

HOW TO GET TO THE MONT-BLANC HOTEL

Hôtel Mont-Blanc is located in the center of Megève. Here are the directions:

• From Sallanches or Combloux: Continue on the RN 212 towards Albertville. At the 1st traffic circle at the entrance to Megève, continue straight ahead to the 2nd traffic circle, then take the 3rd exit towards La Poste. After about 200m, turn left to enter the pedestrian zone.
• From Albertville or Praz-sur-Arly: On entering Megève, at the 1st traffic circle, take the 2nd right towards the town center, continue to the 2nd traffic circle, then take the 1st right towards the Post Office. After approx. 200 m, turn left into the pedestrian zone.

DO YOU HAVE A SHUTTLE FROM THE AIRPORT OR THE GENEVA TRAIN STATION TO THE MONT-BLANC HOTEL?

HOW FAR IS THE CENTRE OF MEGÈVE FROM THE HOTEL?

No, the Hôtel Mont-Blanc is ideally located right in the center of Megève, a stone's throw from the village square. It's the perfect place to take in local events such as the Christmas tree lighting, jumping, the jazz festival, Toquicimes, and many others.

HOW FAR AWAY ARE THE SKI SLOPES?

The Hôtel Mont-Blanc is perfectly situated for your stay in the snow. The Caboche gondola, offering direct access to the ski slopes, is right behind the hotel. WHAT ARE THE ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES?

When you arrive at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc, you can check in from 4pm. If you arrive before 4pm, we invite you to relax in our Le George tea room. After your journey, enjoy a moment of relaxation in front of the fireplace, comfortably seated in one of the lounge's armchairs. For your departure, check-out must be by noon at the latest. If this time is not respected, an additional night will be charged.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO A LATE CHECK-OUT?

Our rooms are not PRM-certified. However, the Hôtel Mont-Blanc provides equipment to facilitate access for the disabled, such as a portable magnetic loop, a wheelchair, a shower chair, a telephone adapted for the visually impaired, as well as luminous and vibrating alarm clocks. What's more, our staff are trained to welcome and assist people with disabilities.

WHAT TIME DOES THE SPA OPEN?

Discover the Pure Altitude mountain spa at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc in the center of Megève. The wellness area is open from 8am to 9pm. For treatments, we take reservations from 9:30am to 12:30pm and from 3pm to 8pm.

WHAT EQUIPMENT CAN I FIND IN YOUR SPA?

The Hôtel Mont-Blanc's wellness area includes a heated indoor pool with counter-current swimming, a Jacuzzi and a sauna. These facilities are perfect for relaxing after a day spent exploring Megève.

WHAT TREATMENTS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE SPA?

The Spa Pure Altitude offers a complete range of mountain-inspired treatments:

CAN OUTSIDE GUESTS USE THE SPA AND POOL?

The swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi are reserved exclusively for hotel guests. However, external guests can access the Spa Pure Altitude facilities by booking a Day Spa, including a treatment and access to the wellness area.

DO I NEED TO BOOK A MASSAGE?

We strongly recommend that you book your treatment at Spa Pure Altitude in advance, especially during school vacations, to guarantee your preferred time slot.

HOW TO BOOK A SPA TREATMENT?

DO YOU HAVE A HAIRDRESSER IN THE HOTEL?

The Hôtel Mont-Blanc does not have a hair salon on site. However, the hotel Les Fermes de Marie, also part of the Maisons & Hôtels Sibuet Group, does have a Leonor Greyl hairdressing salon in Megève. If you would like to make an appointment, please contact the Hôtel Mont-Blanc reception desk.
